The Club started as a way to serve the leisure needs of the Roodepoort / West Rand community, who had previously supported the CMR Golf Club. In recent years the region has experienced rapid development to which Ruimsig Country Club can boast a thriving and cosmopolitan membership.
The ease of access and ample parking, with the Ruimsig clubhouse offering entertainment areas, accommodating upwards of 200 people, enhances the success and simplicity of the venue. Kiaat trophy cabinets, warm parquet flooring, splendid cool patios, a bar and plentiful open space, create a highly sought after venue for conferences, events, golf days, ect. 4 Large function halls with state of the art conference facilities for large or small, corporate or intimate gatherings are easily adaptable to accommodate visitors.
Johan Meyer - Very nice golf course to play. Not too difficult for higher handicapped player. But challenging enough. Nice atmosphere in club house for after game drinks. Staff friendly and helpful. Old world charm.
Nhlanhla Tshabalala - Perfect place for meetings. Very quiet
Tyran Bester - Really nice course with good facilities. The condition of the fairways, greens and bunkers is great and well maintained. A recommended day out.
Keagan Boshoff - Lovely course. Amazing condition. Bit of a challenge. Great track for a day out on the course.
Christo Ras - Beautiful settings. Course is well planned and play nice. Staff friendly & helpful. Clubhouse well organised.
Nii Lante Okunka - Nice course, well kept greens and fairway, lovely people when i went. a good way to spend a morning on the gentle rolling greens. Enjoyed the back nine very much.
Quinton Grove - The staff is so help full and the field is so well maintained with a nice view to look over when sitting at the bar.
Theo van Vuuren - High standard golf course with a challenging layout. Well worth a visit. Set in a rural environment with great facilities and close to main roads. Within a secure estate.
John-Edward Grose - great facilities, good atmosphere and affordable drinks in The Clubhouse.
Cobus van NIekerk - Short but very challenging course, especially with the pin placing tuck in.
